Subscription Widget Absent

    The subscription widget is not appearing as an option in the Widgets admin area.

    Activating Extra Sidebar Widgets works, by the way.

    I am using a local MAMP environment and a custom theme based on “_s”

    I see. It requires me to be logged into wordpress.com – which isn’t an option that is even mentioned when you are on the local environment (it seems).
