Subscriptions without the extension

    In addition to physical products, the site I am building will sell subscription services with various length of terms. For example monthly, Quartery, annual.
    I want to use WooCommerce to sell both physical goods AND subscriptions. I know there is an extension to do exactly that. But I cannot afford $200 they are charging for it. I am a sartup with an extremely limited budget.
    I do not mind paying for such an extension, but $200 is way too much for one extension.
    So is there a way to sell my subscriptions without the need for this over-priced plugin? re there alternative plugins that can help me accomplish my goal?

    Unfortunately the answer is no. And if you think about it, if you hired a developer to build such software for you the cost would be far beyond $200. So in reality the cost of WooCommerce Subscriptions as sold by by WooThemes isn’t overpriced in any way whatsoever. Beyond your budget constraints, possibly, but overpriced – not really. It’s just cost recovery for development and support.

    Or at least that’s our perspective, us being entirely independent developers of add-ons for WooCommerce who are fully cognisant of the time/cost involved with such development and support.
