Substitute Plugin for CiviCRM

Hi all…I’m in a bit of a bind right now with a client. They are currently using CiviCRM to handle all of their CRM. They offer memberships for exclusive content, they have calendar events they need to have managed, email newsletter capabilities, event registration capabilites, and there is even a form that visitors can use to find a member (via last name, location within a certain mile radius, etc), membership renewal reminders, donation tracking and more. They and I are so frustrated using Civi that I’m thinking of using several plugins to satisfy our needs rather than using Civi. It’s NOT user friendly, and I think it is WAY over-engineered.

So…do you think you might have a good replacement? Thanks
