subtitle field gone

Dear Philip Arthur,

Untill recently I was able to fill in the subtitle field. Now all of a sudden its gone. The subtitles are still there but with new posts I cant add a subtitle. This is also the case with other templates, I tested that.

I tried several other subtitle plugings and they all have the same problem. What can I do?
