hmm, do you have sample link to your site for us to see and analyze please? also, another way to debug this is to temporarily revert back to default theme and/or deactivate other plugins.
I’m having the same issue!
I’ve tried every which way in the settings but to no avail! Here’s the link to my site: –

After you submit a test event you’ll see the “?success=1” URL load and the page is blank. It should display a message to the user and a few links to purchase a featured listing etc.
I’d love to know how to fix it.
Have you tried setting “Show form again” to No under Events > Settings > General > Event Submission Forms?
Yes I’ve tried that but still no joy.
In the end we re-directed the user to a new page to display the success message and our paid listing options. It’s such a shame we couldn’t get this to work but hey ho.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:
– deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

We did try it with no other plugins active and still didn’t work. Our workaround is working so all is good once again.

We used a plugin called “Simple 301 Redirects”

We redirected “/event-submission/?success=1” to http://www.domainname/pagename
