ECI will be replaced during the 2nd half of 2012.
WordPress CSV Importer is being offered as the advanced plugin so that I can continue providing advanced features too my clients while reducing ECI to something far more simple than it is.
Sorry for any issues you may experienced. The plugin is still being supported and there is a lot to happen still.
