It appears that my optin forms are not working sometimes (it’s intermittent which is frustrating) when using W3 Total Cache and sucuri firewall.

I get an error saying that “an error occurred while submitting your data. Please try again.”

The developer for the opt in form said:

`Examining the failed form submission request also revealed that the request is being processed by sucuri.
When I disabled page caching in your W3 Total Cache(W3TC) settings, the form was submitted successfully even when logged out.
Based on the above, there appears to be a conflict between W3 Total Cache caching and the sucuri firewall.

Are you aware of this issue and is there a fix?

The issue is resolved now that I turned the plugin off.

    Hello @dan00neuffer

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please share which plugin you are using for these forms and if the form is the specific page?
Using both W3TC and Suciri is not a problem per se, however, this means that you have multiple layers of caching.
If the form is on some specific page, for example,/contact/, can you please try to exclude that page from the Page Cache in Performance>Page Cache>Advanced>”Never Cache following pages” field, and also if minify is enabled add this page to Performance>Minify>Advanced>”Never Minifyfollowing pages”:
    example:
    /contact/
Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache and let me know if the problem persists.
If convenient please share the page the form is on so I can also check for myself.

    Thanks!
