Suggested Improvements

Thanks for a very useful plugin. I need to modify the content of the feed items before they are imported as posts. I suggest that you add a few filters and action hooks so that developers can modify the behavior of the plugin without creating a customized version. I have some specific suggestions about places to add them.

I also suggest that you change import_posts.php around line 683 to allow $maxperfetch to limit the number of posts added rather than the number of feed items to examine. Otherwise, with a large number of feeds, the items in some of the feeds will never be imported as posts.
