Suggestion Object Cache

    When I active the Object Cache the server give me 503, i delete the file and now run ok.

    I think is one good idea one advise if the user active the Object cache in disk and the server run intermittent, disable and delete the file in ftp /cache, etc if no have access to admin menu.

    If you have intermittent unavailable access error 503, disable the option.

    I think the Object Cache in disk (the only available for me) make the web slow and intermittent.

    Now i active the database cache.

    Maybe the Object Cache no is one good idea in disk?
    Maybe is necessary quit the option?

    We use the plugin for have speed, and is an good idea alert to the user about this behavior.

    Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
    Yes, in some environments, depending on the website using Disk based Object Caching can cause problems, and in general, it’s not recommended to use Object cache if the only available caching method is Disk, and some memory-based caching like Redis or Memcached is recommended.

    We are working on improving the W3 Total Cache every day and one of the thing we are working on is OC, and possible removal of the Disk option for caching.
