Suggestions – "name" setting, notification options

    I am considering using this wonderful and simple plugin to create a glossary on our intranet. A couple of things would be great features for us

    1.) Allow us to change the word “name” to something else like “word” or “term” as we are not using it for a list of names

    2.) Allow us to choose to enable or disable having it send an email whenever a vistor submits a new term. And if enabled, then allow us to enter the email address it should send notices to.

    Hi mevilsizor,

    thank you for your suggestions! The first one is not configurable yet, but is fixable by following this thread we just resolved a few days ago: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/change-name-reference

    The second one is certainly on my todo list, but I have a few other things to fix first.

    I hope that doesnt stand too much in your way for using the plugin 🙂

    I found that thread and Poedit software and was able to make the word change that I needed! So we will be using the plugin.

    When you do updates, will it break the language files I setup?

    Hi Mark,

    good to hear! Whether the update breaks your language kind of depends on which language you are using now. If that is English, don’t worry. That is already built in and I won’t distribute a file that will overwrite yours. It is always a good idea to have a backup though.

    If you edited any of the supported languages (except for English) it might break when there is a new translation. So a backup is always advised.
