Hi,

Does yoast set this automatically when posts are sent to Twitter?

‘Enable this feature if you want Twitter to display a preview with images and a text excerpt when a link to your site is shared.’

I set it to ‘Summary with Large Image’.

I’m using a plugin poster (SNAP) which I presume uses the yoast setting but the twittercard does not show as required above?

Any ideas please?

Unfortunately, we are not sure how you are using the 3rd party plugin with Yoast SEO. Yoast SEO set the summer with the large image for Twitter automatically whenever a post is shared on Twitter. Please, make sure that you only have on set of Twitter card meta on your site source.

Yoast is the only one we use…and was working fine until you updated it…again

Hi @rik0399,

Please send us a URL where you’re no longer able to get Summary with Large Image, so that we can investigate it and provide you with a solution.

Hi,

We understand: http://www.primesiteuk.com is not showing the summary with large image. We can see in the source code that one set of Twitter data comes from JM Twitter Cards and another from Yoast. See image: https://pasteboard.co/HcYCa95.png. We would like some more information.

A. If you disable or deactivate JM Twitter Cards does the right Twitter data show?

B. Can you confirm the image is correctly sized for Twitter? This guide explains more: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/optimize-with-cards/overview/summary-card-with-large-image
