    Hi, I’m trying to use the SumUp payment plugin and getting authorisation issues.

    I’ve submitted a ticket (evGs3DxYUmUp26fX) to the Developers but they couldn’t help me as they said the plugin was developed in line with SumUp’s API. Strange as they’re normally pretty helpful.

    The Plugin requires some credentials to work, they’re labelled as follows:

    Merchant Email: MyAdminEmailGoesHere
    Transaction Prefix: ?
    Application ID: ?
    Application Secret: ?
    Currency: GBP: British Pound

    The SumUp Developer Page gives the following for the application;

    Affiliate Keys: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Application ID: NameOfMyApplicationGoesHere

    OAuth – Create Client Credentials

    ApplicationName: MyApplicationName
    Type: Web
    Client ID: cc_classic_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    What do I put where please?

    Hi Simon,

    We are obviously the same company. We are the developers of your payment plugin, but I don’t think this is the right place to discuss about an issue with an add-on only available for the Pro/commercial version of Vik Booking.

    You still have an open ticket with us, it’s exactly the number you mentioned, and we never received a reply from you after our invitation to ask the bank what merchant details you should use. Maybe the name of some fields has changed, and so this is something that should be checked by our programmers, but we kindly ask you to continue the conversation on our Support Board.

    We are going to follow up on your ticket as soon as possible, but we need to close this topic on the forum as it’s not related to Vik Booking directly.
