Super Admin is affected upon restrictions

    Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t get the part of the Super Admin functionality? I thought this plugin allows custom access restrictions to “sub-admins” without affecting the main super admin?

    For instance, I need to provide a developer access to certain sections of the backend, I created an Admin account for the developer, applied the Restrictions, yet, myself as the super Admin am affected as well.

    What am I doing wrong or is this how it works?

    Super Admin is a default Role of a WordPress Multisite (network) install, is not a custom role. If you will more rights as the admin, create a custom role for “second admin” with a plugin, like Members and set different roles for this 2 admins.

    Hi Frank,
    I had already tried what you’re suggesting, I had created a new role using Members and named it Admin-sub, I associated few Edit and Write rules limited to what he was supposed to have access to, but once logged in to the backend, he still had access to the rest of the WP Dashboard panel.

    I think the issue here is that I am not using a Multisite installation and yet just one regular WP install, could that be it?
