• I installed Super Cache. After a while I had a problem when opening the website: the menu structure does not work properly: the drop down (cascade) submenu doe not work. The submenu appears in a differente place left in the Header instead right under the main menu

    Hi,
can you check if you see any JavaScript errors in your browser?
Also, can you verify that all your CSS and JavaScript is loaded?

Java Script is loaded (checked on Safari)
But how can I check the CSS is loaded ?

Check which CSS files should be loaded when the cache is disabled and then check if they are available when you page was cached. Can you post a link to your website?

Was this menu designed to have 2 rows for a menu?
Does it work when you disable the cache?
The <li> of the parent-element looks like it needs “position: relative”.

After deactivating Super Cache everything works fine. Always did. In the menu dashboard you can move the page to the right and than make it “subitem” After uploading you see the results: in menu you see “Contact” and dropdown hoover “Zangles”

It looks like that the caching plugin does not load http://www.veradebree.nl/?sccss=1&ver=4.5.9 when your cache is active.

    Ben

    (@benbornschein)

Sometimes a caching plugin like WP Super Cache just can’t handle this JavaScript. Is this your first caching plugin you tried?

Yes, but I think I have to look for Alternatives. Or maybe another Procedure to keep the site quick enough.

    Check out my profile 🙂

You can also try to deactivate JavaScript minification, this should still increase your sites performance.

Can you inform me how to do this ?
