Transfer was smooth and easy as possible. Create new WordPress install on SiteGround. Download and install plugin on site you want to transfer and activate the plugin. Obtain the free token from your SiteGround account and then it does all the work for you, including the option to update your site’s domain name if you need or want to. Database update is all done by the plugin. Absolute beginners who are not familiar with installing and activating plugins may need some assistance.
