• Hello, I’m quite confused about how the plugin works.

I’ve enabled “preload mode” (garbage collection disabled) and set 10080 minutes as regeneration frequency, so that cached pages could be re-created once a week.

On the “advanced” tab, “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated” option is disabled.

Next preload regeneration was scheduled for wednesday night (last successful regeneration was last wednesday) but I checked today and found the supercache folder emtpy.

What could be the reason why the supercache files were deleted?

    Thanks

  • It’s possible that some actions trigger delete cache (eg. menu edit should remove entire cache, switching the theme, …). You should enable debug log (WPSC settings/debug) and the log file should contain more details.

Ok, I enabled logging, will check in the next few days.
Is there a comprehensive list of all events that trigger cache deletion?
    Thanks.

I have a similar problem. How did you resolve this at the end? Also, my cache will not be erased.
