Sorry dude, I’m away on my holidays at the moment and don’t have access to a decent machine. I suspect it’s simply stripping the tags so I’ll get them added to the allowed tags which should fix it.

I have the same request to be able to include subscripts and superscripts in possible answers in order to make chemistry quizzes. I could either do it if html is accepted when I write out the possible answers or via a visual editor with superscript and subscript in the toolbar. Possible?
