WP Rollback is fully compatible with WordPress version 4.9.2. I responded to your other ticket as well; but here’s a few things I’d suggest looking into:
Do you have any security measures that prevent plugins from being updated? Try disabling all security plugins; check your wp-config.php file for any special rules; also check your htaccess file as well.
If that doesn’t shed any light, then deactivate all plugins besides WP Rollback and Yoast SEO. If it works as expected then re-activate each plugin one at a time until you see the problem again. Then let us know which plugin caused the error and we’ll dig into it.
