Hi, does the pro version support my existing WordPress setup?

I am running three sites based on the ‘WordPress multi-database’ setup, in which multiple WordPress installations share the same WordPress files, but each installation has its own separate database.

I have ab.com, bc.com and cd.com all sharing the same WordPress files but running on their own separate database.

I am wondering if the pro version would allow me to set up staging, push or pull individual changes made (contents, menu items, page or plugin settings and etc.) between each domain’s live and staging site at all?

For example, can I set up staging for ab.com, make changes on the staging.ab.com and push it to live (to ab.com only)?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, this is not a pro version question, it’s pre-sale question instead.

Can you please assist to answer my question above or provide an email so I can email through more details?

If the plugin fits our needs we will purchase the pro version.

    Thanks!

I would say this is 100% a pro question;-) Here are the ww.wp.xz.cn community rules!

When you send us an email or use the contact form please clarify this part:

      > but each installation has its own separate database

Are you sure you mean “database”? Usually, a multisite network uses one common database but multiple database tables prefixed with a prefix specific to each network site:

      e.g.
    • wp_posts (main site)
    • wp_1_posts (first network site)
    • wp_2_posts (second network site)

      Cheers

    Hi Rene,

So I can reach out the your supplied contact methods even though I do not have the pro version yet?

And yes, like I’ve explained, it’s not a mulisite network, there’re three seperate databases (in phpMyAdmin), each is for a completely different domain but all three domain share/use the same WordPress files (under public_html).

Therefore, I wanted to find out whether the plugin will support it – supprt push and pulling changes between the live and staging site’s database individually (without touching the files).

I will get in contact via the form if I can do so without a pro license.

    Thanks.

    Yes, you can do that.

Interesting setup. Never heard about such a structure before.

This is something that needs to be tested as this is a custom structure and is officially not supported by WordPress as far as I know.

I am running three sites based on the ‘WordPress multi-database’ setup

Please send us a link where this WordPress multi-database is described in detail. Did you create it on your own or followed a guide to create it?
