    Since Visual Composer is widely used maybe plugin could support it so that tags would be removed from snippet description (and any other other places you use it).

    Regardless of Visual Composer or other plugins, it seems that simply shortcode syntax should be filtered from the fields.

    Simple in concept, not necessarily in execution.

    Maybe have a preference option initially that just disables auto-populating of the description field for advanced users.

    Hello,

    Since the last updated, Visual Composer is blocked on backend post and Yoast doesn’T let us the possibilities to parameter anything.

    Good to hear your team are working with VC. Just updated both SEO and VC hoping for a fix, but still having to disable SEO every time I want to edit any content created using VC. Good luck with the integration, hope it comes together soon 🙂

    Incidentally, same problem with Metro Visual Builder – presumably same or related issue?
