    WordPress Version: 6.8.2 Issue Description

    I’m experiencing a sitemap integration issue between Permalink Manager and RankMath SEO plugin. After updating post slugs using Permalink Manager, the XML sitemap generated by RankMath continues to display the old URLs instead of the new custom permalinks. Steps Taken

    1. Updated post slugs using Permalink Manager interface
    2. Regenerated native slugs via Permalink Manager → Tools → Regenerate native slugs
    3. Regenerate Custom Permalinks – This reverts to old URL
    4. Cleared RankMath cache and regenerated sitemap multiple times
    5. Flushed WordPress permalinks (Settings → Permalinks → Save Changes)
    6. Cleared all site caching (plugin cache, server cache, etc.)
    7. Verified custom permalinks work – the new URLs display correctly when browsing the site

    Current Behavior

    • Front-end URLs: Display correctly with new custom permalinks ✅
    • WordPress native permalinks: new URLs
    • RankMath sitemap: Still shows old URLs ❌
    • Post editor “View Post” button: new URLs
