• Hi YITH support team,

I’m currently using the YITH WooCommerce Request a Quote plugin on my website and have a couple of questions regarding the [yith_ywraq_button_quote] shortcode.

    1. Is this shortcode available in the free version, or is it exclusive to the premium version?
    2. I’m trying to use it inside a custom product template (using Bricks Builder) to manually display the “Add to quote” button.
    3. The shortcode works perfectly on simple products, but it doesn’t seem to work on variable products — the button is either not displayed or not functional.

Is there any special configuration or condition needed for the shortcode to work with variable products? Or is it only functional when used inside the default WooCommerce product loop?

Looking forward to your response. Thank you for your assistance!

    Best regards,

Hi @ezemanzur, there are no limitations with regard to what you indicate. We have also detected a small error that will be corrected and added in the new version.

    Hi @albertomrtn ,

When I create a custom single product template with Bricks Builder, it seems that the “Add to cart” block is not rendered in the standard WooCommerce way. Because of this, the plugin’s setting to display the “Add to quote” button is ignored, so I tried adding the [yith_ywraq_button_quote] shortcode manually.

With simple products, the shortcode works, but with variable products the button either doesn’t appear or isn’t functional. I believe this is because Bricks doesn’t output the default variation form structure, so the plugin can’t capture the selected variation.

I solved it by removing the Bricks template and using the default WooCommerce single product view, where the button works fine for both simple and variable product.
