With the ‘Suppress SPAM comment notification’ box checked in the plugin settings, I am still getting spam comment notifications delivered.
E.g. A comment came in at 6:32am today, got marked as spam, (we have Akismet installed) and I received the “comment requires moderation” notification email I created with BNFW at the same time, despite having the ‘suppress SPAM comment notification’ box checked in the settings.

With the ‘Suppress SPAM comment notification’ box checked in the plugin settings, I am still getting spam comment notifications delivered.

But I’m wondering if there are any simple sanity checks I can do to troubleshoot this before I test on a clean install of WP.
