Swear By It

I have this installed on about a dozen sites, with half of them using the premium version. WordFence has caught or stopped a problem on each of those sites at least once. As a result, this has become one of my standard group of plugins on new sites.

One thing I like is that notifications can be sent to the site owner AND myself, leaving no questions about when & where problems happen. It gives me a quick and easy way to spot check the site for problems (scans & live traffic view) without having to do manual/visual checks on everything.

Recommend going with the Premium version to take advantage of all the options. Your site & your sanity is totally worth $5 a month. Discount pricing is available for multiple keys.

Support is quick & accommodating even when the questions are a little oddball. Had to contact them 3 times, never had to wait more than 24 hours. That’s reliable.

Install this plugin first thing after you setup WP. Absolutely worth it.
