    Hello,

I have used your helpful plugin for many sites. Normally when I switch to an low level user and have to go to the frond end there always is a switch back link (sometimes hidden by styling).

However, when I use your plugin on a multi-site and do the same thing I cannot find the switch back link. I have checked if it is hidden, but it doesn’t even show up in the page’s source (nothing with id user_switching_switch_on).

Is this because your plugin is not compatible with multi-sites, or this is some bug on my installation?

Please let me know. Thank you.

    Thanks for the message.

Do you have domain mapping in place on your network? It might be that something in the domain mapping configuration is preventing User Switching’s cookies from being set on the correct domain or path.

Do you have any custom values set for the various cookie constants in WordPress such as AUTH_COOKIE, SECURE_AUTH_COOKIE, LOGGED_IN_COOKIE, COOKIEPATH, SITECOOKIEPATH, or COOKIE_DOMAIN?

    Hi John,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Our dev has identified that another plugin we’re using may be causing what you just described.

I can send you the php file of that plugin that does it. What would be the best way to do so?

    Thank you!

Feel free to send it over but I’m not sure that I’ll have any time to look into it. You can find my email address on https://johnblackbourn.com/about .
