• Hello team WordPress!

Today I am coming up with a query which is certainly may not discussed here before.

    I have an E-commerce website http://www.metalliccurves.com.
Before developing my E-commerce website, I have created a sub-domain dev.metalliccurves.com and starts developing everything in this sub-domain.

Now the website is developed enough to go live and I decided to migrate from dev.metalliccurves.com to live domain here http://www.metalliccurves.com. So I migrated the website (both database & files) using Duplicator Plugin (Note: I am using different databases for both live and development website). Now everything is working properly & that’s fine.

    What’s my concern is:

I still wants to further develop my website, And for this again I decided to switch to development mode (i.e. dev.metalliccurves.com), Since it’s not a good practice to make changes to the live website directly. RIGHT? Now let’s suppose I make some changes in the development site like added some plugins, pages & posts.

During this time of development, there is also lot of action occurs to the live website like New Customer Registered, New Products Orders, etc. (Hence, effecting the production/live website database).

Now you can observe that my both development & production databases are totally far different from each other. Now the question is how should I migrate from development to live mode? As far as file content is concern, It can be easily migrate to live from development but what about my both development & production databases?
