Switching payment gateways

    Question?

    WE are using paypal and it is not going well so we are wanting to switch over to a bank gateway.

    Is there a way to do this without having to have each member resign up?

    Hi Chas,

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    If you have subscriptions on PayPal and need them to be moved, this should be able to be done from within the payment gateway and you will need to link the users inside Paid Memberships Pro with the new payment transaction ID which can be done with our Import Users From CSV add on – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-import-users-csv/

    Alternatively, if your user’s have to renew their membership level they will check out as intended and this will be setup on the new gateway.

    Please note changing gateways will not affect members that have signed up for a membership level prior to this change.
