OK…I hate to be a pain in the butt, but I’m going to the Apple Store in a half-hour. I would really like some insight into what I need to know regarding WordPress (if anything) when switching from PC to Mac.

If you do most of your wordpress stuff via the web, not much will change, except your FTP client and text editor. And possibly your browser. If you have a local development environment, look into using MAMP.
I switched from PC to Mac about a month ago. I had problems formatting in WordPress with the Safari browser. Nobody at the Apple Store could explain it, but I downloaded Firefox and all has been well ever since.
