Hi, this is my first message, thank you in advance for your help and sorry if my english is not good!

I have been using SWPM for about a year, always perfect, but since yesterday I noticed that after logging in, the view of the protected page remains the same and takes me back to the login page.

By clicking on login you return to the user status page, resulting active and with the right level of membership.

I tried these solutions but at the moment I have not solved:

    • – deactivated all plugins
    • – reactivated plugins one by one
    • – cleared the cache of the site and all pages
    • – tried to change my site theme to Twenty – Twenty (I use Hueman)
    • – reactivated a backup I had on my hosting service from 7 days ago
    • By disabling the SWPM plugin obviously the page is visible to everyone.
    • Do you have any suggestions or solutions? I don’t know what to try anymore after a day of testing!

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I have been using SWPM for about a year, always perfect, but since yesterday I noticed that after logging in, the view of the protected page remains the same and takes me back to the login page.

Are you login in as an administrator? If you are, have you given the admin the rights to view the protected content? Please check the following instructions. Let me know if they help you.

Hi @mbrsolution , thank you for the reply!

No, I use an account as a subscriber, I use it for testing.
I also tried to deactivate and reactivate the user but nothing, the problem is still there.

The user logs in, the status is active but when you click on the page where the coverage is active, it sends me the message of: “You need to be logged in to view this content. Please Log In. Not a member? Register “

Clicking on login takes me back to the user’s status page which is still logged in and active.

Other ideas? thank you very much

Hi, I carried out a test in my dev site and it works for me. Please see the following steps I took to make sure it is working.

    • Create a new member and assign a membership level Free.
    • Assign the membership level Free to the post.
    • Install the following plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-membership-after-login-redirection/
    • I check the option box Enable Redirect to Last Page in the plugin above.
    • I opened up a different browser and typed the protected post in the address bar. It asked me to log in because the post is protected.
    • I logged in with the new member created and it redirected me back to the protected post.
    • I can confirm that this is working for me in my dev site.
    • Also, I am running WordPress 6.2.2 and PHP 8.2.4 in my dev site.

Let me know if the steps above help you in any way.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @mbrsolution ,

I followed your guide, I hope I didn’t do something wrong, in the first screenshot the creation of the new account (test) while in the second, the screen that appears after logging in or when you click on the premium page, the one I protected.

I can’t get it to work, did I probably do something wrong?

    thank you again

Hi, did you also installed the following plugin/addon and configured it as per my instructions above?

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-membership-after-login-redirection/

Also make sure the default pages exist in your site.

    Kind regards.

Hello, thank you very much for your availability and patience.
I couldn’t get it to work, probably due to my lack of skills.
I used another plugin, set all the parameters again and with this one it works.

    Thanks again, really!
