Sydney Theme – Menu
-
Hi,
I am using the Sydney theme and I want to create or move the menu & site title above the slider image. Is there a way of doing this? Basically the menu items (text) are not very clear layered above the slider image.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Keith

go to Appearance > Editor > style.css and add below code to change the position of your menu and title.
you can find style.css at right side under sub items of the Templates tag.
.site-header.fixed { position: relative;}
.site-header { background-color: #1c1c1c;}Thanks Pratik.
So I need to add :
.site-header.fixed { position: relative;}
.site-header { background-color: #1c1c1c;}Whereabouts in the style.css? Anywhere or a particular area?
generally you can add that css to anywhere in style.css.
you should add that css code at last for remembering or if in case you have to change that code.
Hi Pratik,
That made no difference. I added the code above at the very bottom of the style.css document. The style.css file is located under Sydney: Stylesheet (style.css)
Thanks
KeithTaking this site as example http://www.commtrack.co.uk how you make the menu smaller after you hit the menu bottom viewing in a mobile device? If you notice, on http://www.commtrack.co.uk it take half of the window when the menu bottom is pressed… how can that menu size can be reduced?
thank you
