The Name Directory Indexes by # and letters A-Z. I have some entries that are mathematical and other symbols (e.g. <, Δ, Ψ) rather than numbers. How can I get these to show up all together under the # in the index?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hi @plcprotect

thanks for contacting me and using my plugin! At this moment there is not such a option in the interface. You can have them all displayed if you like. To do this, head over to the Settings of the directory and switch the “display all index letters” to No.

The plugin should then show all “starting” letters. If you have database access and you can work with the database, you can also edit the “letter” column to change it into #

please me know if this works or if you have any more questions.

    kind regards,

Hi @plcprotect have you gotten a change to see if this helps?

    Kind regards, Jeroen

I had already had the “All” configured so this is of no help. The user will never see a symbol if they select # or A-Z. I wasn’t able to access the database.

Hi @plcprotect thanks for trying! I see that I should have meant selecting “No” at the all-letters. I am not sure if this will work because it’s symbols instead of letter-characters, but that might help.

When I replied to your message I had no working instance available as I was on my mobile phone. I hope this will be of help.

    Kind regards,
