Symlink Compatibility

    I had a quick question in regards to the symlink compatibility with this plugin. We run Wordfence on every website on our server and symlink a lot of our plugins to increase performance especially when having to make updates. I wanted to know if Wordfence is symlink compatible or are there any path conflicts that may arise when trying to use Wordfence in a symlink architecture on a server?

    Hi coleh3,
    we have some checks in place to prevent infinite loops when the scan encounters a symlink. However, as I do not know the extent or details of your setup I can not make any 100% guarantee that it will work. If you have a development server I would suggest you try it out there first. The main thing I would be looking out for is infinite loops in scan.
