    hi

i have a problem with your excellent plugin:

i have if i have an english lang site and a site in say chinese and i want them to function as a single store. but if someone buys a product from the chinese store, the stock on the english lang store will not be updated, right? ie even tho your plugin connects the pages it does not connect/sync the stock levels. this seems like a major issue, no?

    thanks for your help!

  • Hi Jonathan,

yes, that’s true. MultilingualPress connects WordPress core types only: post types and taxonomies. It does not synchronize anything, especially not very complex data structures like a store from any plugin. There is no standard way to implement a store, a shopping card or similar things, so we cannot write code to catch all implementations.

That’s either up to the shop plugin programmers or to third-party plugins.
