Synchronization problems: How do I start from scratch

    Hi there,

    Somehow the folder structure on my drive and MLP’s have run completely out of sync.
    It started when I ran the WLP reset tool when MLP got stuck searching for folders.

    Since then I probably really messed up everything. After de-installing all MLP plugins and reinstalling, MLP starts making extra entries in the Media Library as soon as I synchronize folders.

    At this moment I have de-installed all MLP plugins. Cleaned up my media library. All image files are in the correct folders. Is there any way I can reinstall MLP and really make it behave as it is running the first time?

    I’ve tried to reinstall, but somehow it still remembers some (incorrect) folder settings.

    If you had some problems since updating to 3.1.7 or 3.1.8 some users have found it helpful to (1) reset MLP, (2) delete MLP 3.1.7 or 3.1.8, (3) install and activate version 3.0.12 which is available on this page, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/media-library-plus/developers/ AND visit the MLP page to trigger a rescan of the media library. (4) If every goes well then you can upgrade to 3.1.8.

    Hi Alan,

    Everything seems to be perfectly fine again! My whole structure did reappear. Next to this structure a folder without a name appeared that wasn’t actually on the filesystem. Moving its contents and deleting it seems to have solved everythin.
