Syntax Error: Cannot modify header information

Looking for some urgent help!

I work on our company website for my boss, I was trying to create a custom order for the posts in the post widget and entered some WP coding. It did not agree with the previous coding in Functions.php and so I removed it. I believe there were 2 lines left blank, which I didn’t realise at the time.

When I next tried to log into the wp-admin page through wordpress this error code came up:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/blocksy/functions.php:17) in /home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1340

So I logged into the Cpannel (siteground) and tried to edit the code in the file manager, I amended it successfully and saved it. However the error code still persisted.

I then thought I would restore a previous backup before it had happened which I did via siteground however once again the error still showed. I cleared my cache as well but this did not help.

Obviously this is for my employer and I feel terrible that the website has now crashed. I have also discovered that when you click the links on the home page a different error code comes up :

Warning: require(/home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 423

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php74/pear’) in /home/customer/www/curzongreen.co.uk/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 423

I am really stuck here and am unsure what to do. I am completely locked out of the admin on WordPress.

I tried FileZilla as well again despite my amendments nothing corrected the errors on the website.
