    Getting an error when trying to activate the plugin.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home2/myacehea/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-submissions/Admin.php on line 245

    How do I fix this?

    I keep getting this error as well. I am on WP version 4.7.2, PHP Version 5.4.45.

    Hi

    You should be aware that PHP 5.4 has been marked as End of Life since 2015 and is no longer supported. I would recommend you contact your web host to update this ASAP.

    The error quoted in the first message is reference to an anonymous function which should work in 5.4.45. I’ve just tested this on my own server using 5.4.45 and it did work so there may be an issue with your host or configuration.

    With that said, I’m very sorry but I cannot continue to support such old versions of PHP.
