syntax error, unexpected ‘?’

    Hi all,
    I’m trying to install the plugin update (THE EVENTS CALENDAR SHORTCODES Version:1.8.1), but I always get this error message:
    E_Parse error : syntax error, unexpected ‘?’
    in /html/wp-content/plugins/template-events-calendar/includes/ect-tinycolor/TinyColor.php on line 117
    I had to deactivate the plugin
    What can I do to resolve this?

    Version WordPress 5.8.1
    Current theme: Enfold Child (versione 4.5.7) Current Plugin: Events Shortcodes – The Events Calendar Addon (version 1.8) Version PHP 5.6.40
