syntax error, unexpected in plugin activation

    good morning
    when i try to activate plugin in more WordPress ( same version same hosting )
    i obtain an error as this
    syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /membri/test/wp-content/plugins/gf2pdf/GravityMerge.php on line 226

    i have try with all plugin disable and with a standard theme as Twenty Fifteen
    but without lucky

    how can i try ?
