Is this from WordPress 2.7? It seems like a closing tag is missing. I would suggest uploading all the files again as this error should not be there if everything is put in place properly. If you installed it through the automatic install through bluehost, try removing and then reinstalling it again.

I am getting syntax errors when I try to put a comment on one of my posts AND when I hit the links to the posts on the side bar. I am using the default template–not sure what version I am using–just loaded it today from bluehost.com. This is what the error code looks like: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDWHILE in /home5/leashyou/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/default/single.php on line 65
