Syntax for placing landmarks

I am looking at the Landmark & CSS settings trying to figure out how to set landmarks. I’m not sure what the correct syntax is for the Control HTML5 elements selectors options.

For example, my website theme has footer elements for each individual post, making it possible to place widgets there. The site footer — the footer that appears below all the posts where the copyright statement sits — is designated with <div id="bottom-bar">. If I wanted to make the bottom-bar DIV a landmark, what would I need to enter into “Footer element selector”?

(It would be great if the documentation had an example or two to show how it should be done.)
