I’m in over my head. Installed AO today. Was running Async Javascript plugin already. Now my client’s site is broken. It’s not loading fully in either Safari or Chrome. I’m on a Mac. SCRIPT_DEBUG did not fix the error.

Safari error console shows SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘)’

I don’t know what other information is helpful. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Resolved. I unchecked “Optimize JavaScript Code?” and the site is loading again.

happy you were able to work around the problem @mddswalk. if you want to get JS optimization working, you could very likely do so by excluding a specific JS-file from optimization, cfr. troubleshooting info in the FAQ. let me know if you need more help!
