    We are looking for a replacement calendar for a new WP site. I’m not going to get into naming names, but the existing calendar we have (which looks great and functions on the surface as I expect) absolutely kills the system resources on the VM I have it hosted on.

    It eats the CPU causing critical load issues, slowing down the site and everything else I have on that VM. A new version is suppose to be in the works that fixes the resource hog, but nothing yet.

    How does this plug-in rate in resources and performance? Anyone who has it in production, can you give any feedback?

    It seems like this (or most likely, the Pro version) would be a good replacement for what we have now.

    Hi prodesignwv – it’s free to download so I’d recommend grabbing a copy and taking it for a spin, then you can assess performance etc within your own environment and make a decision from there.
