Tabby and ESS Grid Issues?

    I’m making my development site live for you to view what is happening:

    However, we’re slated to take this live tomorrow so I am hoping for a speedy response.

    Through Visual Composer, I’ve edited this page “Home” as a standard page. As you can see from the page itself, there are a lot of elements laid out in Visual Composer. Once we get to the Insights area, I am trying to tab a new section that has Press Releases + Events with a sidebar form to the right of it.

    However, on page load, whichever tab is not loaded with the site never populates (screenshot is here: https://ibb.co/b73Mfb). In this case, Events just shows a few circles, but nothing else…. it will load all of them only if I either click the tabs back and forth another time or hit the “Load More” button.

    It’s important to note that I am using other shortcodes to pull in the Press Release and Events content. There are post feeds I set up through ESS Grid that is sandwiched in the Tabby code.

    The content appears to be loading for me after a tab is selected – on firefox MacOS

    I have never used ESS grid so I don’t know anything about it, but it sounds like it adds content by javascript, so this may be similar to the issue that can occur when image galleries or maps are added by javascript. When the issue occurs it is most likely that ESS Grid is unable to display the content at the correct dimensions on page load when it is not initially visible, so the element has zero dimensions.

    What is the recommended solution? This is definitely happening in Chrome.

    You’ll need to ask the developer/vendor of the ESS grid plugin
