    Hello,

I have a table with filters and in which only 8 entries should be visible per page. This works when I’m in preview mode, but on my “real” page, the filters are not showing, and all the entries of my table are visible instead of only 8.

Here is the shortcode I inserted in the page in case you need it : [table id=2 datatables_columnfilterwidgets=true datatables_columnfilterwidgets_exclude_columns=1,3,7,9 datatables_columnfilterwidgets_separator=” / ” /]

Do you know where this could come from ?
Thank you very much for your time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I can not confirm or reproduce that. When I go to your link, everything seems to be working as expected. I assume that some JavaScript code is interfering when you are logged in into WordPress. Please test again with a different browser or an incognito/private browsing tab (where you will then not be logged in into your site).

    Regards,

    Hi Tobias,

Thanks for your answer. It was indeed working on Chrome but not on Firefox. There was actually a conflict with another plugin (Autoptimize). After deactivating it, the filters are back.

    Thanks for your help !
    Best regards

    Salut florencep;
That should be fixable by changing Autoptimize’s configuration as well (instead of disabling it). When interested; first and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can see what the next steps need to be 🙂

    Hi,

I also don’t think that you need to deactivate Autoptimize here. After all, everything is working fine when not logged in (which your site’s visitors also won’t be). It’s not a Chrome vs. Firefox issue, but only about being logged in!

To further investigate this, I recommend to maybe open a new thread in the Autoptimize forums, as that’s not really related to TablePress anymore then.

    Regards,
    Tobias
