When I create or copy a table, I am getting table not found when putting in the shortcode.

For example. I create a new table and give it an ID of 5. I use the following shortcode, [table id=5 /] when I preview the page, I get [table “5” not found /] on the page.

    Here is some debug information:

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s strange, and I don’t really see what’s wrong here… If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

just as above: If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

Hi, I’m having the same problem on a website I’m developing.
Should I send email with admin account or is it possible to know how it was solved by the other users?

I have this problem as well. It is intermittent. We have a lot of plug-ins. Sometimes if I purge the cache on the page, it will make it go away, but then it will randomly surface.

    Hi shelleygeek,

just to be sure, you are also gettin the “table not found” error?

When many plugins are involved this is really tricky to debug. If this happens again, I can therefore only suggest to try and temporarily deactivate other plugins. You might also want to take a look at the server error log files.

    Regards,
    Tobias
