We are updating some important content on our staging server for this site: http://missionbaypark.staging.wpengine.com/

We are frequent users of TABLEPRESS and have made monetary contributions to support the plugin.
On this page, http://missionbaypark.staging.wpengine.com/hold-your-event-at-mission-bay-parks/, we would like to use TABLEPRESS to present some data for both desktop + mobile.

If you look at the SOUTHERN PARK AREAS row, under the #2 Pick a Venue | Date + Get the Details ROW, > then click + Get Venue Details > then click Specs Venue Size + Dimensions, you will see a TABLEPRESS table that includes the responsive display TABLEPRESS shortcode [table id=1 responsive=scroll /].

The table looks fine on desktop but does NOT scroll in mobile.

We also did a test using SHORTCODE ULTIMATE and their table shortcode.
We successfully got the table to display and scroll in mobile view.
    Look here to confirm.
Look at the PAVILION row under the #2 Pick a Venue | Date + Get the Details ROW, > then click + Get Venue Details > then click Venue Size + Dimensions, you will see the SHORTCODE ULTIMATE table displays a responsive, sliding table in mobile.

Can you please help us to resolve this issue as we would like to continue to use TABLEPRESS as our table plugin of choice?

Thanks for your assistance and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Just to be sure: Did you install AND activate the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ ? This is necessary for the responsive=scroll parameter to work.

In addition, on the “Edit” screen of table 1, please uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox. As you have already turned off the individual features, this saves some loading time.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Tobias,

Many thanks for the prompt reply.
    You’re a genius!! 🙂

I TOTALLY forgot about the TP Responsive Plugin!!
We made a note for future use/integration of TP.

    Also, DATA TABLES unchecked.

    All working perfectly now.
    Look here: http://missionbaypark.staging.wpengine.com/hold-your-event-at-mission-bay-parks/

We can now populate the rest of the necessary data tables in MSXL, export .CSV, integrate into TP and we are good to go.
    Many thanks again.

    TablePress rocks!!
