Same problem! Why is it happening?
The new version deletes the settings from:
Heading levels: Includes the following heading levels. Deselecting a heading will exclude it.
Select the headers and press save. It will appear again on the site.
I did little changes in the settings of TOC+ still the table of content is not showing in any of my blog post

Hello, I am in the same situation as ripon99
Same Problem here. Plugins stops to work!
The website of Michael Trans shows the sameproblem, the plugin is also not working there: https://dublue.com/plugins/toc/
My problem is not solved yet. Can you please solve it?
The solution from @sangshenas worked for me, although I read about it first from a review from @moesoloff where they explained it a little differently. Not sure if this will help anyone else, but it did work for me.
This is from the review:

I figured out how to fix the new update and why it doesn’t show up after the update
- Go to settings and
- scroll down to advanced settings.
- Under Heading levels, the update by default unchecked all
- Check h2, h3, h4
- Scroll down hit save
- and problem solved!
And now its again the best TOC plugin

Thanks sarah 321 for your interest. But in my case this solution doesn’t work, and I still have the same problem.

Hi, got same issue, toc not showing. Seems like the plugin doesn’t save settings anymore. Someone found a solution ?
I try select h2 etc but as the setting can’t be saved anymore, doesn’t change a thing for me. Thinks.
