Hello,

I was wondering if there was an ability to obtain a link where it automatically inputs a word in the search bar for table press.

For instance, I click the link, and it directs me to the table press with an entry in the search bar without having to do anything.

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

For this, you could use a combination of TablePress Extensions, namely https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-auto-filter/ and https://tablepress.org/extensions/shortcode-filter-get-parameter/.
In order to use them together, you would need to make the change from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/automatic-filtering-by-url-parameter/#post-10149102

Hi Tobias,

Thank you so much for the quick response. I had a question on how I can add a new plugin. That is not an option on my plugin page. Because I am associated with the University account, is this feature blocked? Is there another way I can go around adding a plugin?

Hi,

I’m afraid that this is something that you’ll have to ask your University’s IT department then. It’s indeed possibly and likely that they turned off the possibility to install plugins.
