Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
This will indeed be solved in TablePress 2.0, coming very soon!
If you want, you can already use a very stable test version. Please see https://tablepress.org/8-million-downloads-tablepress-2-0/ for more information.

OK this has now got worse!
I exported on of the few tables I can edit.
I added new data and uploaded the file to replace existing and all I can see are hyroglifics.
This is driving me mad
I Will have to try Version 2
Hi,
just to confirm: Those issues are still with TablePress 1.14? What exactly do you see after importing? What import format did you use? Can you maybe provide a screenshot?
TablePress 2.0 should indeed help here, as it not only has a better import, but is also faster when editing large tables.

Sorry to have taken so long replying but I was on a deadline for a magazine I produce.
Wow am I impressed or what.
I uploaded version 2 and all my issues are now resolved.
I have uploaded large tables with no issues, no hanging and very quick and as far as I can see stable.
Check this out, this is one of the larger tables 5703 rows.
Very many thanks @tobiasbg

It really makes me happy to hear that TablePress 2.0 resolves the issues that you were previously facing 🙂 It really was a lot of work, but such feedback is what motivates me.
I really hope that the Premium features that will be available soon will also be interesting for you then.
