thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
TablePress does not directly support this mode for styling. You’d have to load the extra JS file yourself and then make a custom JS call to invoke DataTables. Sorry for not having better news here 🙁
Adding “Custom CSS” to achieve the desired styling is the best option here, I’d say.

they all have CSS classes that you can use. I suggest to use the Developer Tools in your browser to inspect the elements and see what CSS classes they have.
